Bad Touch and Mollie Marriott get it on in Islington

Mollie Marriott has hit the ground running. Just weeks after releasing her debut album, ‘Truth Is A Wolf’, the singer is touring the UK as special guest of Bad Touch. No stranger to the country’s stages – earlier this year she supported Paul Weller and Wilko Johnson – Marriott looks and sounds totally at home in front of the Islington Academy crowd.

Backed by a tight three-piece band, she seduces those who’ve come out on a Sunday night with her majestic voice and self-deprecating charm. Able to see only her own face staring back from the T-shirts in the front row, she sings into the dark with all her heart.

Mollie Marriott unleashing ‘Truth Is A Wolf’

November is shaping up to be very busy for Mollie Marriott. Not only is the singer releasing her debut album, she’s heading out on tour with Bad Touch.

“I’m really excited about the album,” she says of ‘Truth Is A Wolf’. “It features a lot of different styles and I think it really showcases my vocals. We had a lot of fun making the album and I hope people enjoy listening to it.

“I can’t wait to perform the songs when we tour with Bad Touch in the UK during November.”

Bad Touch: Create a memory

Bad Touch have been making a joyous rock ‘n roll noise for the past six years – in which time the Norfolk five-piece have released two full-length albums; toured with the likes of The Quireboys, Jared James Nichols, and The Kentucky Headhunters; and played festivals like Hard Rock Hell and Download.
