Guns N’ Roses storming London Stadium

Guns N’ Roses are bringing their Not In This Lifetime Tour to Europe in 2017, including two shows at London Stadium.

The band – featuring original members Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan – play the former Olympic stadium on 16 and 17 June. Rose played the same venue earlier this year when he fronted AC/DC.

Tickets are on sale now.

Starting on 27 May at Dublin’s Slane Castle, the tour will hit 19 cities across the UK and Europe including Paris, Madrid, Vienna, and Copenhagen.

Two years after their 1985 formation, Guns N’ Roses rose from the Los Angeles rock scene to earn the title “most dangerous band in the world” with ‘Appetite for Destruction’ – the best-selling US debut ever, selling 30 million copies globally thanks to anthems like ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ and ‘Sweet Child o’ Mine’. In 1991, the seven-time platinum ‘Use Your Illusion I’ and ‘Use Your Illusion II’ occupied the top two spots of the Billboard Top 200 upon release. But by the mid-90s the group had disintegrated and, with Rose as the sole remaining original member, it wasn’t until 2008 that they re-emerged with ‘Chinese Democracy’.

After almost a decade of touring with a new line-up, the singer reunited with lead guitarist Slash and bassist McKagan in 2015. The current band also includes Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums), and Melissa Reese (keyboard).
