King No-One ruling at Boston Music Room

King No-One are releasing their new single, ‘Alcatraz’, ahead of a national headline tour that includes a London stop.

The Yorkshire indie rockers – featuring singer and rhythm guitarist Zach Lount, lead guitarist Joe Martin, bassist Alex Townsley, and drummer James Basille – play Boston Music Room on 9 December.Tickets are on sale now

‘Alcatraz’, which has seen the four-piece compared to The 1975 and Don Broco, and the end-of-year trek cap a busy 2016 that included selling out their debut headlining tour, a headlining Club NME show at KOKO in Camden, and performances at summer festivals like Dot To Dot and The Great Escape.

They also released the single ‘Halo’ that continued to build on the success of previous songs like ‘Foreign Tongue’, ‘Stay Close’, and ‘Constellations’ (featured on Radio 1’s Best of BBC Introducing list for 2015).

With these songs supported by radio DJs like Huw Stevens and Steve Lamacq, as well as featured on Channel 4’s ‘Sunday Brunch’, the band have continued to take their music out on the road, continuing early successes that included supporting Embrace on two sold-out UK Academy tours and appearing at Reading and Leeds festivals.
