Depeche Mode are returning to London, over three years after they last performed in the capital in support of their 2013 album ‘Delta Machine’.
David Gahan, Martin Gore, and Andrew Fletcher will be playing London Stadium on 3 June 2017 as part of their Global Spirit tour. The European trek, that starts in Stockholm on 5 May and wraps in Romania on 23 July, will see the trio play to over 1.5 million fans in 32 cities in 21 countries during the summer.
The tour, announced at a press conference in Milan, is in support of the band’s forthcoming 14th studio album, ‘Spirit’. Currently being recorded with producer James Ford – best known as a member of Simian Mobile Disco and for his work with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Florence and the Machine, and Foals -‘Spirit’ is due for release in spring 2017.
Tickets for Depeche Mode’s London Stadium performance go on sale on 14 October 2016.
